This world map started as a simple pencil sketch — just borders and lines — but slowly took shape into a inked map of the world.
Watch as a few hours of work unfold into an experience you can watch in just over a minute.
Hit play and watch the world unfold, one stroke at a time!
Here's a quick peek into my process—this is a 90-second time-lapse of me inking two zebras by hand. It starts with pencils outlines, before darkening the details and texture. The final result uses ink pen and brush to create a bold finish.
Thanks for watching! Each piece in the collection uses this same process, and I look forward to sharing more behind-the-scenes videos!
This one’s a little different — and a lot of fun.
When planning to advertise my shop, I had the idea for a QR code on a coffee mug. But black and white art is my thing, so I wondered - can you hand-draw a QR code?
Turns out, you can! The key was getting the grid right in the beginning. But, it's really fun carrying around my new favorite coffee mug and starting a conversation about my art!
Here's another process video, combining wall decor with my country flag art.
I start by drawing country outlines, in this case the 12 countries and 2 territories of South America. (Sorry South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands, you didn't fit into the frame)
It's fun showing a peek into my digital editing, then putting all the countries together like a puzzle! Looking forward to crossing off several of these countries from my "to travel" list!
